Extroverts are often seen as successful, capable, results-oriented people who are consistently happy and healthy. Unfortunately, introverts are often looked at as the opposite. Because someone is introverted, it does not mean that the person is not happy or healthy, or a successful individual. The similarities and differences between introverts and extroverts are as follows:

Qualities of an Introvert

Introverts feel more energetic and they are at ease when they spend time by themselves, introspection is a key aspect of introverts. An introvert may hear a question or conversation and have the correct response and can add value. However, this person will decide to stay silent, and they are definitely quieter than an extrovert. There self worth is strong and they don’t look to others for validation.

Introverts enjoy one-on-one conversations with people whom they have something in common with. Building authentic mutually beneficial relationships are very important to them, they do limit their relationships to substantial ones. Introverts are great listeners while extroverts are excessive talkers. They often struggle with change but can focus easily, for extended periods of time. The classic introvert prefers to work by themselves or in a very small group, and prefers not to be the center of attention.
