Dowd of BHD Builders, Inc. This prestigious recognition is bestowed for exceptional contributions that support the Home Builders Association and its membership.

- Bryan was raised in Asheboro, North Carolina.
- He is a graduate of Appalachian State University, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
- His career began at Lowe’ s Companies, where he worked from 1976 to 1989.
- Since 1989, he has been a residential home builder, specializing in both single and multi-family homes.
- Bryan has developed a commercial strip mall.
- He has been a member of the Home Builders Association for 32 years.
- He served as Chairman of the Tour of Homes for five years.
- Since its inception in 2012, he has been the Chairman of the Clay Shoot, making it a 13-year commitment.
- He has been a member of the Florence Baptist Temple since 1984.
- From 1994 to 2005, he was the owner of Creative Home Décor.
- Bryan has been married to Libby Dowd for 26 years.- He has been a serving member of the Residential Builders Commission since 2006, marking 19 years of service.
- Currently, he is constructing his personal residence in Florence.
Mr. Dowd has dedicated over 35 years to advocating for and safeguarding the home building industry as well as the homeowners of South Carolina. He holds the distinction of serving as an Advisory member of the Home Builders Association Board of Directors.
