In an ideal world, these things would never happen. In an ideal world, buttons wouldn’t mysteriously pop off mid-lunch into our soup just before an important meeting. In an ideal world, our fitted jackets wouldn’t split after an enthusiastic, squeezy hug to our loved ones as we step out of the car on our way into work. In an ideal world, trouser suits and dresses would be immune to a coffee spillage caused by trying to drink it on the go, with a loose fitting cap.
So, I’ve a few suggestions and preventative measures up my sleeve that I will share with you so that if you ever find yourself having an un-ideal world kinda day, you’re in some way prepared and you can make like Taylor, and shake it off.
Tip One:
Always have a spare pair of flat shoes and high heels shoes in your car, in a bag at your desk, in your locker or if you happen to favour large oversized bags, pop them in there. Never again will you have to worry about breaking a heel! The little covers you can see in the picture below are also a great idea for stilettos especially for Spring Racing! Guys, if you wear lace-up shoes, always have a spare pair of laces stashed to carry you through.
