Green building is more cost effective in the long run , as it limits future operational costs . Going green can add to the value of a property and make it more attractive to buyers . I also foresee that what is considered going green today , will most likely become standard practice in the future .

Home , and what that word meant to people also drastically changed overnight as a result of the COVID pandemic . For many of us , home was now also the place where we worked , and as such needed to tick different boxes . Many were no longer required to work from the office , and it meant that they could make moves to different areas or even different provinces .
The market experienced a real uptick in demand for properties away from city centres .
We have seen a sharp and significant rise in semigration since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic . It is almost as if the movement , which took a breather in Cape Town during the prolonged drought , got a second pair of legs !
We are experiencing an influx of buyers from across the country , but particularly from Gauteng and KZN , to the Garden Route , Cape Town metropole , and small towns within 2 or more hours drive from the major centres and airports .
