Daniel established the Assist Group ( initially known as Property Assist ) in 2013 after spending a lifetime in the property industry , operating mainly in the distressed property market . “ Millions of financially distressed families around the world are dispossessed of their homes everyday while major banks and property investors chase a quick buck by snapping up their properties at Sale in Executions . I know , I was one of them ,” admits Daniel .
“ But the status quo of business in the distressed residential property market simply can not continue ,” stresses Daniel . “ Distressed properties will always be a sad reality , but not only is profiteering from homeowners when they ’ re most vulnerable morally unconscionable , it is a destructive and unsustainable business model .”
“ We started Assist Group because we knew there was a better way ; one where the bank still takes its cut , the investor can still make a decent return , and more importantly , the financially distressed household can either keep their home or achieve fair market value when they need it most .”
