Early start
For Daniel , working in the property market was clearly a calling , not a chosen career .
“ I was born to work in the property market and didn ’ t really know any other way . My father was heavily involved in property and was one of the first South Africans to work with Sectional Titles . He was an excellent entrepreneur and property developer , and very smart at being lazy too ,” he says with a chuckle . “ From an early age I was the gopher for all his businesses , doing the slog work , executing all his ideas and endless tasks .”
“ After high school my father wanted me to study as an electrician , probably so that I could be cheap in-house labour for his developments . After two weeks of bunking class , I convinced him that I will never be a great Sparky and that the property game was for me .”
