Conclusion As stated above, the primary aim of the subsided housing program known as RDP, was introduced to eradicate informal settlements that are usually found in disadvantaged areas and built houses for previously disadvantaged communities. With all being said, I would advise people that if you are looking into buying an RDP house, ensure that the property is not subject to title deed restrictive conditions once the 8 year period has expired.
