No one is ever ready to let go of their comfort zone to start up in a new industry, even worse, investing in real estate when you have no knowledge of when your money will be returning to you and at what quantity.

School teacher turned real estate investor, Michael Swan is adamant that moving into a different industry for purposes of making generational wealth shouldn’ t be a move that is only influenced by greed and current financial depression, it should rather be strategic and calculated too.

When the idea of making more money, besides your 9-5 job, strikes you, be careful of investing in reward-less ventures.
When this school teacher was made aware that he was not going to be further remunerated for his services by the institution that he was working in, he invested in a scheme which did not really make much rewards for him. It took about a year of wasted and non-rewarding investments for him to get back to his senses and make the right move.
“ When I was told that the campus that I worked at was going to be closed for some seasons in the year, I realised that I was going to lose about $ 12 000 a year. I then decided to change my financial dependance solutions and started investing in some investment tools around the USA. I invested about $ 6 000 a year in this investment scheme, and the returns after a year of investing were exactly the same as the initial investment. There were no rewards. I realised that I was not making the money here, maybe the financial advisors were, but I was definitely not,” Swan says.
