Limited time left to take advantage of the low
price for the US EB-5 investment visa
It was announced last month that the
minimum requirements for the EB-5
immigration and investment visa will
increase from $500,000 to $900,000 as of 21
November 2019. South Africans who are keen
to secure their US green card and grow their
wealth in the stable American economy have
less than three months to take advantage of
this low price. The EB-5 programme is regulated by the
United States Citizens and Immigration
Services (USCIS) and Gibraltar’s Space Coast
Regional Centre ensures all projects are
approved for the programme. The American
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
closely monitors anything related to real
estate, protecting investors from fraud and
corruption.
“The current EB-5 visa pricing is effectively
the cheapest it’s ever going to be to invest in
an approved American development while
attaining a green card for you and your
family,” explained Ryan Van Heerden, Sales
Director of Gibraltar SA. “Legitimate funds will
need to be made available and the application
submitted by Wednesday, 20 November 2019,
to take advantage of this original lower price.” The reason Gibraltar is one of the industry
leaders in returns for this particular
programme is because investors are dealing
directly with the developer: “7% return
per annum on the $500,000 investment is
unheard of in South Africa,” explained Van
Heerden.
Gibraltar – which boasts a 100% success
rate for EB-5 applications – is a reputable
organisation focusing on property
partnerships.
“The baby boomer generation is retiring,
prompting the largest movement of wealth
in history,” explained Van Heerden. “Around
10,000 Americans, most of whom are wealthy
with little debt, are turning 65 every day and
requiring retirement homes. We are offering
investors the chance to capitalise on this
trend.”
Gibraltar is set to develop 15 assisted living
facilities – a $1billion portfolio – with
2 additional facilities already in the
pipeline, and through the EB-5 visa
programme, South Africans and
other interested nationals can
partner as investors and earn
an industry leading EB-5 return
of 7% - all while obtaining their
green card.
Gibraltar has South African partners who
understand the need of local entrepreneurs
to protect their assets, and working with
American partners who understand the local
economy and market. “We form the bridge to
ensure investor profitability.”
