corrections, and heaven forbid you need your money when the market is having a correction.
Gold, silver and precious metals only preserve wealth ‒ they don’ t pay a dividend. When was the last time you heard of someone sticking diamonds up their backside and leaving their country? I believe that people who sell fear, sell these investments.
I can’ t even think about one good thing with Certificates of Deposit, as they don’ t keep up with inflation, let alone make a profit. Mortgages have zero upside potential and inflation destroys their present value, and Crowd Funding is not my cup of tea. The idea with crowd funding is investing in a lot of different assets on different platforms. Sounds easy, right? Just wait until the day you want to get out and then you will find out how easy that is.
Historical reasons for not investing in single-family houses I believe that people don’ t invest in single-family homes because they either lack the necessary skill sets to do so, or because it requires work. Most people don’ t have the time or knowledge to do those things when they’ re running a business or working for someone else.
What if I told you that there are‘ turnkey providers’ all over the U. S. that can handle everything from house selection, property management, a proper exit plan, with legal structures and bank account set up? Would that interest you?

Acquiring single-family houses requires various skill sets that can be hired out for the passive investor. These include:
1 Research on location and area. 2 House selection ‒ quality, floor plan. 3 Negotiation to purchase. 4 Knowledge of renovations and management thereof. 5 Tenant selection and property management. 6 When and how to exit. 7 Knowledge of legal structures, bank accounts etc.
What I’ m really pointing to here is that the barrier of entry into single-family house investment is the U. S. has simply been too high for most people ‒ until now.
Turnkey providers opening the doors In any new business, things can sometimes go wrong. The same is true for real estate, and especially when you invest outside of your country. It’ s important to know what happens next when a tenant moves out without notice, or an air conditioner breaks down in the middle of a heat wave. These are things that should concern you and that’ s why it’ s so important not only to select good houses in good areas, but also to be selective about who you do business with when considering an offshore investment.
