All real estate and property investors know that we are
currently in a buyer’s market. This means that there are more
sellers than buyers and that buyers have the leverage when
it comes to negotiation. This also means that sellers are not
getting the prices they want when selling their properties. So
how do property sellers stay competitive?

he real estate and property market also have different
market seasons like any other market. There are
various factors that affect the stability of the market
and the favourability of the market to key role players in
the sector namely the property sellers and property buyers.
These factors include the volatility of the country’s economy
as well as the stability of the country’s social wellbeing from
a health, employment and crime point of view.

What is a buyers' market?
In the property and real estate sector the buyer's market is
described as an instance where there are very high number
of properties available to be sold and there are not as many
property buyers to purchase all the available properties.
Therefore, the supply for housing is quite high, while the
demand is extremely low.
