Originating from New York, Gib- son moved with his middle-class parents to Australia at the age of 12. Gibson studied acting at Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Arts and soon became a major movie start at the age of 23 after he lead role in 1979 Australian film, Mad Max. Today, whether acting, directing, inciting controversy or purchasing some of the most romantic properties on the planet, he does it with passion. From action figure, to comedy, from stage to film – Gibson has proven himself in the entertainment industry as evidenced by his multiple awards. Gibson has funnelled his income into property investments with holdings in Australia, Costa Rica, the United States and Mago Island in Fiji. Gibson’s philanthropic footprint can be seen in various countries as he has made multiple donations. An example of this is the Fijan island, Gibson has invested in this area and intends to keep the island in its natural and undeveloped state.
