in particular. The sponsoring of the June SA Legends
Portugal rugby tour was a logical partnership and
match for all of us.”
The SA Rugby Legends team had a 5-day stay in
Lisbon, which included a rugby coaching clinic event
held at the University of Lisbon for the young future
Portuguese rugby stars. This was a huge opportunity
for youngsters to meet and greet their rugby heroes.
A large part of the event was socializing with players,
partners, sponsors and fans the night before the big
game. On Saturday afternoon almost 10, 000 people
attended the SA Legends versus Portugal Legends
(Lobos) rugby game at Lisbon University. Most of
the SA Legends players rated the Portugal Rugby
Legends tour as one of the best ever.
Andrew Rissik went on to add; “It is not only about
the business association with SA Rugby Legends
