The City of Johannesburg awarded over 55 properties from the 70 were advertised from 30 April
2019 through a public tender as part of the inner city rejuvenation project. The award is the
biggest since the launch of this project and the investment value for the 55 properties is estimated
at 10 billion rand which will contribute to the City’s goal of achieving 5% economic growth by
2021.
