His previous roles include Executive : Asset Management at Vukile and Asset Manager at SA Corporate Real Estate , where his impactful strategies helped drive significant organizational successes . His prior directorship at SAPOA underscores his longstanding commitment to advancing South Africa ’ s real estate industry .
In addition to his commitment to advocacy , Mothibeli emphasised the importance of skill development within the industry . “ Developing skills is crucial . We must ensure the industry is equipped to integrate new talent effectively . This will be a major priority during my presidency ,” he remarked . Mothibeli also underscored South Africa ’ s strategic position as a gateway to Africa and its appeal for capital investment despite current challenges . “ Even with the difficulties we face , there is an optimistic outlook in the market . I am excited about harnessing growth potential and transforming opportunities into tangible wealth ,” he concluded .
In his inaugural address , Mothibeli expressed his gratitude to the SAPOA board for their past guidance and lauded Jackie van Niekerk for her exemplary leadership . He shared his enthusiasm for addressing future challenges , stating ,
There is a lot to concentrate on as we proceed , and I am eager to tackle the difficulties that lie ahead .
Mothibeli outlined his vision for SAPOA ’ s role on both local and national fronts . He highlighted the association ’ s strength in addressing regional issues and advocating for public sector interests . “ One of SAPOA ’ s greatest assets is its capacity to recognize regional issues and bring them to the national stage . My focus will be on public sector advocacy , and I believe in a collaborative approach to solving problems ,” he affirmed .
