Forging a path in Property and Infrastructure Development Siyabonga ’ s career commenced during his university years , when he volunteered as an assistant project manager for the Natal Schools Project ( part of the Urban Foundation ). Upon graduating , he joined Murray & Roberts Construction as a Site Engineer , where he worked on the Durban Academic Hospital project . This role deepened his understanding of construction complexities and solidified his foundation in the industry . Over the next few years , he advanced through various roles at significant institutions like the South African Reserve Bank and Old Mutual Properties , where he served as a Project Manager and later as Regional Development Manager .
Pace Property Group : A Vision realised Whilst he has been associated with the company for over 10 years , Siyabonga recently took the helm at Pace Property Group , a 100 % black-owned company with a remarkable 40-year legacy . Whilst the firm has been well known as an industry leader in investment property brokering and property management , it has changed focus by specialising in property asset management , construction project management , development management , and facilities management , essential services to investors and developers . Construction project management services are provided through its division , Pace Project Management .
