1 . Is there someone ’ s work you admire & who could be a good guide ? I ' ve always admired Christine Lagarde and consider her a beacon of inspiration . Her journey , from smashing glass ceilings to becoming the first woman in prestigious positions like Executive Committee member at Baker & McKenzie , Finance Minister of France , and President of the European Central Bank , is truly remarkable . Lagarde ' s ability to navigate complex financial landscapes with grace and decisiveness while remaining calm in chaos is something I aspire to emulate .
2 . Where and how do you find your sources of Inspiration ? I find inspiration from a variety of sources , including conferences , seminars , and webinars , as well as through subscription to industry newsletters and curated content . Keeping abreast of developments in Cyprus and my industry through platforms like Google Alerts allows me to stay informed and continuously inspired by new ideas , innovations , and trends .
3 . What Lasting Legacy would you like to leave in the world ? My philosophy has always been centered around uplifting and inspiring those around me to realize their dreams . I strive to leave a legacy of empowerment , encouraging clients , staff , suppliers , and all those I interact with to be brave and pursue their aspirations . In terms of a tangible legacy , I aim to revolutionize the short-term rental tourism industry in Cyprus by championing eco-friendly practices and promoting local culture and artisans , thereby offering guests an immersive and sustainable experience .
4 . Presidential Action If I were the President of South Africa , my immediate focus would be on combating corruption at all levels of government and State-Owned Entities ( SOEs ). Transparency and accountability are paramount , and I would initiate measures to ensure that politicians , SOE management , and heads of political parties declare their assets and business interests . By rooting out corruption and fostering trust and confidence in governance , we can pave the way for social and economic development , instilling a sense of optimism and progress in the nation .
