A Humble Beginning : The Foundation of Hard Work and Perseverance
Lizna was born in Carnarvon , a small town in the Northern Cape , and grew up in Van Wyksvlei , a tiny community of just 1,700 people . Life in a small town , where every face is familiar and resources are limited , shaped Lizna ’ s core values of hard work , resilience , and a deep appreciation for community .
With grandparents who were farmers and business owners , and parents who were driven entrepreneurs , Lizna learned early that success doesn ’ t come without sacrifice and dedication . Her family ’ s struggles with financial challenges , coupled with their unwavering determination , formed the foundation of her future path .
“ My childhood taught me the importance of perseverance and determination . I saw first-hand how hard work and vision could turn dreams into reality ,” Lizna reflects .
These early experiences not only shaped her work ethic but also instilled in her a sense of purpose to create something more significant than herself . She matriculated in Oudtshoorn and went on to pursue a twoyear diploma in Somatology . This marked the beginning of her broader global journey - one that would see her lead teams on some of the world ’ s largest cruise ships , manage HR and recruitment across multiple countries , and , ultimately , shift into the world of real estate .
