During his time in Malawi , Daniel met his wife , Agie , a Malawian Chartered Accountant who was also dedicated to improving her country ’ s economy . Together , they co-founded Development Consulting Solutions ( DCS ), a firm that provided consulting services to international organizations like the World Bank , the IMF , USAID , the EU , and various NGOs , as well as the Reserve Bank of Malawi . The company focused on driving economic development in Malawi by assisting in project financing , policy development , and implementation .
Daniel ’ s time in Africa taught him invaluable lessons about resilience , humility , and empathy . “ I lived in areas where extreme poverty was the norm . It forced me to reconsider my priorities , not just professionally , but personally ,” Daniel says . “ I was humbled by the resilience of the people , and I developed a greater sense of gratitude for the opportunities I had .” In 2016 , after the birth of their daughter , Daniella , Daniel and Agie decided to return to the United States to raise their child in the U . S . education system . Their journey back to America marked a new chapter in Daniel ’ s career , one that would bring him full circle into the world of real estate finance — but with an international perspective that few could match .
