3 Reasons online learning will not make students stay at home in South Africa
I
remember the 27th of March clearly , it is when the first hard lockdown was announced . I had just placed approximately 300 students in different properties across South Africa and I fully believed that my student accommodation business just went down the drain . Images of students attending classes in their pajamas , in front of their university supplied laptops flashed in my head and drowned all reason .
students to come back as soon as we hit level four ! Their “ reasons ” for returning ranged from it is an emergency , to blatantly stretching the truth that the University requested them to come back . But all this was proven untrue , and I got relieved .
