Mid Value ( R250k-R700k ) and High Value transactions ( R700k - R1.5m ) recorded a six year high in 2021 , as was Luxury ( R1.5m - R3m ) by a few transactions and Super Luxury ( R3m and above ) was not much short of its high in 2016 . The number of Low Value / Affordable ( R250k and less ) transactions are at a six year low . The data confirms that it is the middle class and wealthier homeowners who are better weathering the economic storms .
