efer a Friend Program - We launched this late last year and have decided to keep it going. The backbone of
Real Entrepreneur Mums is about creating raving fans for your business and to introduce you to hot leads.
We wanted to thank our members who send us hot leads. So instead of paying Facebook, we are thanking
our members when they refer a friend and that friend becomes a member. For each successful referral our
member will receive a $100 gift card. We have already sent so many out that I am sure are being spent on
something nice.
Question Two: How can we add more value to our Leadership Team?
Wow! Do we have to most amazing leadership team or what? We are so honoured that they are part of our
business and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. Our leadership team is our family and it is vital
that Sophie and I regularly ask this question.
We began to answer this by looking at their role and how we could simplify it even more. In business, sometimes
we over-complicate things – or they become complicated as we continue to add to them, without taking the
time to review them closely. We looked at our current processes, asked and received feedback and then put in
place effective and efficient systems that allow our leaders to do what they do best. We also found we needed to
review the resources we give our leaders, so everyone knows exactly the who, what, when, where and why’s of
our meetings and members. We updated our training and produced a kick-ass handbook. Why do this? There is
now a very specific and repeatable process that we follow every time we get a new leader. Rinse and repeat plus
automation is a great business model. Just remember to review regularly!
And did we mention the Monday night webinar series that they are going to host? Our Community Leaders aren’t
chosen just for their bright personalities and wonderful sense of humour – they are also incredibly smart and
savvy women, with a wealth of knowledge to share.
Question Three: How can we grow our brand and our business?
This is an exciting question to answer, because if you know Sophie and I, we think BIG, real BIG. We have been
itching for 2018 to start.
Late last year we recorded a brand new documentary style video sharing with o ur thoughts on being an entrepreneur
mum. This video is part of our marketing strategy and was launched on Facebook in late January. It’s been incredible
to watch the response from it, as it has clearly reflected what many women in business think and feel.
Our goal this year is to dominate Australia and open communities in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Tasmania
and Perth as well as to grow our current communities. We are holding two open days in Melbourne and Brisbane
in March and are pumped to meet even more inspiring women.
Question Four: How can we grow personally and professionally?
People always forget about this question and we believe it is one of the most important questions to ask. If you
are not personally growing your skills, strengthening your mindset and making sure you are continually becoming
the best version of yourself – when things get hard or extremely busy or when you have to step up to the next
level – it’s your personal development that is going to get your through.
The first step is to clearly define your top five goals for the year. On New Year’s Day Sophie and I sat down
together and wrote these out in our planners. They are specific, actionable, and scary and totally take us into
the direction of our long-term destination. Once our business goals were established it was about defining our
personal goals. In our planners, all members receive one, there’s a page that gives you space to specify your
personal goals.
Once we know the plan for the year and what we want to achieve, it’s about becoming very deliberate with our
time each day to ensure we focus on achieving each of these goals. This happens by growing our minds, being
inspired by others and nurturing our bodies to ensure we have the physical capacity to do all this.
This year is going to be incredible. I believe that you are capable of creating your dream business
and lifestyle provided you keep focused and surround yourself with the right people.
Here’s to being extraordinary!
