Ugg Boot Planning Day
It’s been a cold, icy winter. I feel it in my bones and finding it hard to warm up. Is it just me or does this year feel colder than the last couple we’ve experienced.
One of the big benefits of working from home is that you have the comfort of Ugg Boots on these bone-numbing days.
And that is exactly what Sophie and I did. We rugged up, slipped on our Uggies and spent our time working on our business and planning the next 90 Days. We have massive goals at Real Entrepreneur Mums, but a goal is just a wish if you don’t have a plan to make it happen. Our goal is to open more Communities in Sydney by the end of the year. We want more Entrepreneur women to be part of a network that supports them to go after their dreams and smash their goals.
We used the Real Entrepreneur Mums Planners to set out the next 30, 60 and 90 days to reach this goal. We then had to peel it back and map it out. This included asking ourselves the following questions.
1 . Is this goal specific? Our goal is to open three new areas during term three, yes, it's a specific goal.
2. Can we measure our progress? Yes we can. We can continue to measure our progress each week until it is achieved.
3. What actions must we take? We wrote down all the actions and steps then decided who was in charge of what. We allocated a deadline for each action to create that accountability.
4. Is the goal relevant? Absolutely. It moves us forward to achieving our mission and five year plan.
5. Does the goal have a deadline? Yes. During term three in 2017. We mapped out the timeline for it to all happen.
Our Ugg Boot planning day was empowering. We are excited to announce two new Communities at Real Entrepreneur Mums – Inner West and Eastern Suburbs in Sydney.
