It’s time to step up and put your most stylish self forward…
Congratulations to you! If you are reading this then you are one amazing entrepreneurial woman who is striving to build a strong brand in your specific area of understanding or expertise. You are hopefully well on your way to becoming the go-to person in your niche, your area or industry and are doing everything humanly possible to become THE key person of influence.
How are you going about this or perhaps more to the point how should you go about this? By becoming your personal brand, that’s how. Your personal brand is all about how the world perceives you. So, it makes sense to ensure that you have a rock solid and interesting brand, one that people will recognise, want to follow, connect with and most importantly use and recommend.
BE YOUR BRAND
It’s important to recognise that your brand needs to be a direct reflection of you, who you are, your most authentic self. Your clients will connect with and buy into you and your unique story, so it’s essential to ensure that your brand is a true reflection of you, quirks and all. There’s no point in building a brand around your “fake” self as you would have to act and dress a certain way and that would be just too exhausting to maintain – “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken” as the saying goes.
When starting a new business most people tend to spend a lot of time and money on their business set up. They make sure that their branding colours and style are consistent on their website, social media pages and in their logos, but sometimes they forget about the most important thing of all – themselves and often they are the face, the front line of the business.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
You are your brand and everything about you – what you look like, how you present yourself, your body language and style all make up the first impression a potential client has of your business. Your appearance is therefore extremely important and your look is directly connected to your perceived performance.
