What is something about yourself that you don ' t share with many ?
I guess , it ' s negative thoughts . I don ' t like to feed negativity . So when I have a negative thought / feeling I either put it in my art and use it to create something positive , or I look into it , if necessary , to empty it and move on . And only when necessary , because I need help , I share it with a selected few who are close to me .
What ' s your favorite city to live in or visit ?

“ If it doesn ' t work , I ' ll change it .” But after you compromising on her artistic integrity . My publish , that ' s it . I ' m very attentive to details , because I believe that everything impacts the experience of the reader , even what they ' re not necessarily aware of . People who collaborated with me on the art and the drawings inside the book know it . But I think they still like me , so I must ' ve done OK .
What was the most enjoyable ? mother and father .
Most enjoyable , pre-publication , watching it come together and finally seeing it complete . family of origin has given up resisting my creativity a while ago . They are happy if I ' m happy . My father ' s no longer with us , but I feel he ' s happy about it . He might even be very happy about it . Do you have hobbies totally unrelated to your career ? How did you discover the Like an independent being now ready to hobby and why do you enjoy it ? have its own life . Most enjoyable of the entire pre-publication process , when I write and it feels like the story and its characters fly , they are alive with a life of their own , and they surprise me with their beauty , their choices , their reactions .
What does your family think of your new role as “ author ”? Are they supportive ?
They are extremely supportive . My wife is a
I ' m a life long sailor . I grew up sailing , in Italy and Europe . Was in the Laser Italian National Jr . Sailing Team . My father and uncle took me out for my first sail , on a dingy . We left the dock , the mast fell and we paddled back . That fast . We didn ' t even make it to the opposite peer . It must ' ve taken all of 7 minutes , tops . I wasn ' t sure what had happened but I knew the sailing trip was over . But I never stopped sailing . It ' s something deep and beautiful in my soul . It writer herself and that ' s one of the many is so intimately connected to Nature and Life , things we love about each other . We ' re very supportive and respectful of each other ' s creativity , and we ask each other ' s help whenever needed . My favorite city ' s the one I live in , Los Angeles . I enjoy visiting my home town of Rimini , Italy , and I love to visit the harbors and islands we sail to . And I enjoy the places we go to when we take even a quick road trip ( here or abroad ) and find little spots of beauty and delight .
Do you have a favorite author ?
Not one , no . I love good writing , good stories and they come from many .
Who has motivated you most since you began this pre-publication journey ? My strongest motivator has undoubtedly been my need to tell this story , the pleasure associated with it and the wish that many will feel something similarly positive in reading it .
