A Moonlight Picnic Ingredients: You and your Someone Special A Deck, A porch or Garage (minus the car) Candles Favorite Music Steaks or Your Favorite Entree Cheese & Crackers A Sweet Dessert Crackers Patio or Card Table Your Favorite Beverage Served in Wine Glasses Fruit: Strawberries and Grapes A Blanket or Tablecloth A Moonlight Picnic can really be held anywhere, but it's perfect for a deck, porch or patio because you can both dine by candlelight and moonlight at the same time. A great thing about this sort of rendezvous is that you can virtually have one anytime. Most of the items are readily available all the time. (Or they will be once you construct your own Romantic Survival Kit) It's always smart to do a bug block any time you dine outdoors. The rest of the set up is easy. Set your table by dressing it first with a tablecloth, sheet, or blanket. (Depends on how formal you want your evening to be.) Next, add candlesticks, fresh flowers (maybe from your yard), the bowl of fruit, cheese and crackers to your table. Chill your beverage. Prepare your meal or transfer from take-out containers to your dishes. Dress for your date then wait for that special someone.
