PDMI titles that will be available in the New Year include a variety of talent and genres. Here is a little of what we are up to. Sirena Robinson: Having released her Kindle version for Christmas, we are ready to roll with Devil’s Dilemma the first in her Chronicles of the Chosen Series. The paperback will be a vailable on line and in Birmingham in January! Check out her website for more about her and her writing. We are continuing to expand our portfolio of Dianne Lynn Gardner’s magical Ian’s Realm. Having issuedDeception Peak in 2013, we will follow with Dragon Shield, Rubies and Robbers, Diary of a Conjurer (never before published) and Cassandra’s Castle (also never published) in 2014. We will soon have an audio version of Deception Peak available for sale. Check out Dianne on her blog AND check out the trailer for Dragon Shield! Peter Wells, a new author joinging PDMI from London, England has written a delightful book of general fiction due to be released in January or February of this year. In Living Life Backwards he gently probes the thoughts of the mundane to seek those corners that still long for adventure. He touches those bits and pieces of each of us that gaze out on the world and find something to settle upon and wonder; “what if?” When an Obsession knocks on the doors of your Paradise, should they remain closed? Visit Peter’s blog and get a taste of this wonderful and refreshing talent. Philip Matogo is a teacher at the Kiguli Army School near Kampala, Uganda. 2013 was the second year that PDMI has published a book of poetry by his students. This year we started a tradition of adding a DVD and including music by the incredible Ugandan band, Qwela. Check out the Songs of Kiguli and the web! Perhaps you’d like to support our efforts in 2014! Philip Matogo is an author in his own right, as well. Scheduled for release in January is his first American publication, Whispers in the Sky . It is part poetic memoir, part humorous autobiography. As he writes about politics and society, with the pen of a gadfly , no topic is taboo…managing to evoke much less controversy than would a lesser writer. Matogo delves deeply into such subjects, with humor and an approach that runs counter to the prevailing voice of modern Western society. 2014 will also bring a series Learning Guides to PDMI, the first one to be published wi ll be Writing Prompts which of includes a brief lesson on short essays and a whole book full of ideas on what to write about and how. Cindy Koepp has been a teacher for a number of years in the middle grades, and her experience in teaching is well represented in this series. A great help for teachers, homeschoolers, test preparation or just to brush up on your 3 Rs, check out our Learning Guides! You are certain to find something in our growing list of titles that will interest you! Such as Virginia Jenning’s Visionary of the Stars; Emily Guido’s Light Bearer series; the Sills’ sisters Wiggle Worm’s Shape Adventure; Banos’ Uplifting One Life at a Time… and many more. 2014 is the year of the Indie Press and we are ready!
