Baltimoreans are always eager to
participate in the Baltimore Book
Festival (BBF) each September.
With hundreds of vendors,
exhibitors and local authors,
there is plenty to do… plenty to
see… and a ton of books!
Baltimore's Office of Promotions
and the Arts hosts the Baltimore
Book Festival each year to
encourage reading, book sales
and fun. An eager committee and
lots of volunteers insure all the
details are put into place to make
the festival a huge success. And
everyone prayers for great
weather!
Special events are organized
within the festival grounds.
Special tents are set-up for
specific groups such as “The
Authors Tent.” This space is set
aside for authors who are there
for just one day of the three day
event. Authors attending all
three days often are set out in
their own individual space/tent.
Space is also reserved for “Diary
of a Wimpy Kid.” Word games
are also organized at “Words
