The Legend of the Bodyguard:
Once upon a time, in a place where magical talent was both honored and feared, the Campbell witch was known and loved by her neighbors. They sought her advice on everything from illness to crops to love and they heeded her warnings when she was blessed by a prophetic vision. One night a band of thieves happened by her home and, rowdy with their success, they pounded on her door demanding she give them a prophecy. She recognized the crest of Clan MacNab on the goods they carried and it was no stretch to see they were headed to their home on the island in the loch. But the vision that fell upon her was dark and terrifying and would give them no comfort. She tried to hurry them along, but they insisted she speak, scoffing and turning cruel when she told them to fear the night when two boats were upon the loch. The thieves ignored her warning and it became their downfall as the MacNabs from whom they'd stolen marched a boat over their mountain and descended on the island to reclaim their property and exact penalty. Hard enemies and alliances were born that night. The few survivors of the thieving clan vowed revenge on the witch for the slaughter of their family and the leader of Clan MacNab vowed, in blood, to always protect her.
