4.

Support yourself with the right foods.

Nutritionally, refined foods and heavy animal proteins keep things stuck in our bodies whereas whole, plant based foods are cleansing physically and emotionally. It can be very helpful to do a dietary cleanse at a time like this. If it’s right for you and your particular constitution, then give one a try. It can be a springboard toward a newer and healthier you.

For one or two days practice the following:

->Start your morning with a cup of warm water and lemon juice (see the great recipe on page XXXXX).

->Stretch and breathe deeply.

->Eat whole grains for breakfast.

->Have a large salad with beans, nuts and avocado for lunch.

->Have an early light dinner of lentil soup, quinoa and cooked vegetables.

->Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

->Get plenty of rest.

It will help you feel renewed.

It will help you release old patterns.

And your digestive system will thank you!

3.

Practice ways to

emotionally release the pain.

Journal. Cry. Scream. Beat pillows. Take a walk. Meditate. Do something that makes you sweat. Talk to a supportive friend. See a therapist. Let the pain and heartache wash through you like a flowing river. It is leaving, letting it go may allow you to feel cleansed and renewed.
