Re: Winter 2015 | Page 41

If you are a natural girl and don’t like too much makeup highlight your face to make it glow, it will look fresh and more elegant. You should apply a highlighter with a small brush or your fingers if you choose a cream product. Take a small amount of a highlighter and apply on the highest points of your face: cheekbones, brow bone, chin, bridge of the nose and Cupid’s bow. The key is to blend it into your skin seamlessly so it looks natural. You could also simply apply some coral, peachy pink blusher to bring that flushed cheek effect as seen on many catwalk shows this season. Coat your lashes with mascara to make your eyes stand out a bit and finish the look with a lip gloss. If you choose your lips to be the main focus be brave and play with colours. The Autumn/Winter 2015 lipstick colour palette range is very wide - from the classic red, ripe berry, blackcurrant to plum, black and more. Don’t be afraid and bring some attitude to your look. To make your lips stand out even more apply some gold or silver eyeshadow in the centre of your lips or add a bit of glitter and apply clear gloss over them. Your lips will sparkle from far. Combine this look with natural eye makeup and remember to match a lip liner with your chosen lipstick. Cover your lips with it and spread the colour with a lip brush to ensure they are well covered. Apply a thin layer of lipstick with the same lip brush and set it with a loose powder. Here is how: separate one layer of a tissue, place it on your lips, take a fluffy brush and dab it into loose powder, shake of the excess and apply on your lips. Reapply your lipstick once again. Remember to choose long lasting formulas so you can dance the night away without worrying about your makeup. Finally, whichever look you are going for remember that your brows should be well groomed and tidy at all times and your under eye circles wellhidden too. New Year is a great opportunity to choose a bold extravagant makeup, but remember, it should go with your hairstyle and your outfit so don’t overdo it. Don’t be afraid to try something new and step into the New Year playful and bright and don’t forget to remove all that makeup at the end of the night! Have a wonderful festive season.
