Where has the year gone? I’m not a big fan of finishing another hard day’s work at Re: Towers to have to travel home in the dark but other than that I do love this time of year. Winter is the time of festive fun, office parties, cosy open fires and looking forward to the start of a new year. We are very pleased to welcome back Amy Pulling to the Re: Magazine Team following her maternity leave, she has a year’s worth of coffee making to catch up on. In the last issue we ran an article by Harry Summerton about his friend Pat Thomas’ moving D-Day story. The article was read by Admiral Sir James Perowne KBE who liked it so much that he arranged for Pat and Harry to meet HRH Prince William at the Submariners Association`s Remembrance Service in London. We are always surprised to hear on whose coffee table Re: Magazine ends up! The magazine continues to go from strength to strength and 2015 has seen us bag some interviews with some real interesting characters. This issue is no different and we have managed to catch up with the very lovely Faye Tozer who you may remember was a member of pop chart-toppers Steps who just happens to be a close personal friend of a member of the MWB Team. Laurence was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning when we sent him off to interview Albion legend Bobby Zamora who is on top form for the Seagulls. I have taken one for the team and reviewed the spectacular East Sussex National Resort. Liza and Laurence have been up to the Gatwick Hilton to sample the wares at the amazing Amy’s Restaurant, which I can personally recommend from previous experience. We also have our usual features including some truly exceptional Sussex homes currently for sale. There is an interesting piece on relationships from a sex therapist and another moving article from Vivien Barker who has provided some great submissions over the years. Included in this issue are some really informative pieces from some of our expert solicitors on areas of the law that we think will be both interesting and helpful but if there are any particular legal topics you would like covered in a future issue then please let me know. This is now our 13th issue and although a lot of work goes into each issue the team here also have a lot of fun putting it together for you. You may get an email from us in the coming months as we would like to get your opinion on Re: Magazine so that we can make sure that we continue to produce something that you want to read. So if you do get an email from us then please do spare a few moments to complete the short survey. As always I really hope you enjoy this issue and I welcome any comments you may have so feel free to drop me a line at editor@ remagazine.co.uk or visit our Facebook page. On behalf of us all at Re: Magazine and the Partners and staff at Mayo Wynne Baxter I’d like to wish you a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year. We also managed to blag some super craft beers from our friends at the Crafty Chooks in Hove for a beer tasting – it’s a tough job but someone had to do it. Jason Edge Editor It’s always a bit manic in the Re: M agazine office around deadline and we occasionally miss the odd typo so if you spot one, do let me know.
