If we are to believe what the weatherman says then we could be in for the worst winter for more than 60 years with polar conditions stretching right into the beginning of next spring (in time for the next issue). So whilst you are snowbound at home we hope that this issue helps you pass the time while you wait for the thaw. Liza caught up with Ben Richards who most will recognise from his years in The Bill, Holby City and Footballers Wives to name a few. Ben is a great ambassador for our nominated charity partner, Chestnut Tree House and we hope to catch up with him again at the Snowman Spectacular Ball. We also have an article about 13 year old Charlie Doherty who has an amazingly selfless tale to tell about how he has raised thousands for charity. A lot of new people have joined the Mayo Wynne Baxter team since last issue including a whole new office following the merger with P R Vince Solicitors in Forest Row and I’m pleased to introduce many of these new colleagues. The firm now has six offices across Sussex and around 200 staff. One of our HR team, Clare Wells, has shared with us her amazing Scandinavian trip to see the northern lights and as we go to print she is expecting a baby and we wish her and husband Dave the very best for the sleepless nights to come.
