what does it all mean?
For separating parents it can be a huge
emotional strain to think about what is
going to happen to your children.
It is often difficult for parents to agree what
is in the best interests of their children
in terms of where they should live, how
much time they should spend with each
parent and the important decision making
such as which school they should attend,
what medical treatment they should have
and what religion they should practice. It
can become even harder if one parent
wishes to relocate.
If the parents cannot agree what the
arrangements for a child should be,
the Court has the power to make the
