it with Warwickshire. People move more now than they did when I was playing… it was quite unique at the time because with benefits it kept people at the same county. Whereas now, salary dictates, and first division, second division dictate if you move or not because people want to play for England and probably realise that they need to be playing first division cricket. Thinking of the highlights of your career, you hit 203 and you got five for 49 bowling against Somerset. Was that a highlight? You always try and do the best you can but if the expectations are low then it’s a lot easier to enjoy something and the bowling, to be fair, no-one expected too much of my bowling right throughout my career really. I probably would have worked a lot harder if I was playing now, because of T20 Blast cricket where spinners play a big part.
