itself at the boat and

out of the front end with
his bare teeth!

water spits you in the face and the loud
hum of the airboat means you have to
wear earphones. We saw little baby
alligators and their big scary mummies!
The tour guide that drove the boat told
us this story that the previous year,
he had taken the boat out at prime
birthing season. He saw some little
baby alligators and gently prodded a
paddle into the water to push back the
vegetation so he could get a better look.
Then all of a sudden an 8 ft alligator

with his bare teeth! I was glad that the
tour was nearly over at this point as I
had started to have visions of us being
surrounded by lots of angry mummy
Alligators, ready to use us as baby food.
We went to watch the Orlando Magic
play basketball at the Amway Centre
which is only a 20 minute drive away
from International Drive. Walking up to
the stadium, there were hot dog stands,
inflatable slides, basketball hoops and
people selling merchandise. The smell
of greasy food hits you, your mouth
starts watering and you have no choice
but to grab a burger or hotdog. The
atmosphere in the stadium was electric,
and the entertainment was like nothing
I’ve ever experienced before. I wasn’t
too familiar with the rules of Basketball,
and I certainly wasn’t expecting for the
game to stop every 30 seconds, but
when it did, entertainers would flood
the stage. There were cheerleaders,
dancers, dogs performing tricks, a choir
and people blasting t-shirts into the
audience through a t-shirt cannon. It
was a great experience and to top it off,
Orlando won!
I’ve also been lucky enough to go to
Discovery Cove where I got the chance
to swim with a beautiful Dolphin. We
rode through the water, although I
was nowhere near as graceful as the
