Eligibility for Re-Enrollment

Acceptable Forms of Payment

All tuition payments for the 2019-2020 school year will be processed through Smart Tuition. Re-enrolling families will automatically be enrolled into Smart Tuition. All CCS families will then be responsible to log into their online accounts to set up their tuition payment preferences. Smart Tuition can process payments made to them through a variety of methods including cash or check, electronic banking services, and electronic withdrawals. Credit card payments will be charged an additional processing fee by Smart Tuition.

Multi-Student Discounts Available

CCS offers a second child discount of 5%. Families with multiple students at Cornerstone are eligible to receive a discount of 5% for the second child as well as our standard 50% tuition discount for the third-plus child(ren). These discounts are not available to families receiving tuition aid or other discounts. Please note that the first $400 of tuition per student is not applicable to multi-student discounts or tuition aid.

Smart Aid Tuition Assistance Application

CCS works with Smart Aid, a component of Smart Tuition, to process all applications for tuition assistance. This process provides families with a secure system for reporting financial information and provides the CCS finance team with a more thorough picture of your family’s level of financial need. All families requesting tuition assistance must complete an online application through Smart Aid. Applying families will be responsible for paying the $40 annual processing fee, which will be charged directly to the family by Smart Aid. Families without secure Internet access are invited to arrange a time to use a computer in the school office to complete the application. The process for submitting Smart Aid applications for financial aid officially begins on March 1.

Important Due Dates

In order to knowledgably plan and budget for the next school year, it is imperative that we know our anticipated enrollment as early as possible. This is especially important as we consider the allocation of tuition aid. Therefore, in order to streamline the enrollment systems and to finalize the annual budget, we have established the following guidelines and due dates.

Intent to Apply for Tuition Assistance: Families must indicate an intent to apply for financial aid at the time of re-enrollment. A $40 re-processing fee will be charged to re-process a Tuition Contract when a request for aid is submitted at a later date.

Submission of the Tuition Assistance Application: Families must complete the online application through Smart Aid by May 15, or within two weeks of acceptance, whichever is later. In cases when the online application for financial aid has not been completed by the due date, a Tuition Contract will be generated with no award of financial aid. A $40 re-processing fee will be charged to re-issue any contract.

Returning Signed Tuition Contracts: Tuition contracts are valid for four weeks from the issue date. Failure to return the contract within that timeframe will void the contract. A $40 re-processing fee will be charged to re-issue a contract, and it is not guaranteed that the same amount of financial aid or the classroom spot will still be available when the contract is reissued. No student will be permitted to attend school until a signed Tuition Contract has been returned.
