NOVEMBER 2014/rdp
As I write this I am sitting
in Mexico listening to the
waves break on shore and
recounting the last month
or so on the River. Even
though most of the world
considers Labor Day the
end of Summer, we at the
river know that the best
time to be on the water is fall. Because the
crowds have gone home and the weather is so mild, many manufacurers and event planners choose the fall to schedule regattas and races and many other activities that attract the true boating enthusiasts. In this issue we have coverage from the DCB Regatta, the Campbell Regatta, the Billy B's River Rockets show at Pirate Cove, the California Pro-Am ski event in northern California, and the Schiada Notta Regatta in Parker, not to mention some really great featured boats and a story of how a couple guys from Parker went out to LOTO and embarrassed many of the factories with their 12-year-old Skater!
Even though the cooler temps are setting in don't worry. We will continue to bring you features and news from everybody's favorite water way, the Colorado River.
See you out there!
