And we're off! The newletter has had great response thus far and as I sit here putting the finishing touches on the second issue, I'm already looking forward to the third. Anytime you take on a new endeavor you can expect that the learning curve will be steep in the first few months and this has been no exception to that rule. Laying out a publication is something that I've never done and, while there is still much to learn, I'm excited at the possibilities that lay ahead!
Since our last issue we have come up with some new interactive features. For instance, if you flip to the inside cover of this issue you will find an ad for our new advertising partner, Maxed Out Marine. What's different about this ad is that you can click on each boat listing and a full gallery will expand with several pictures of each boat in the ad. Why do I bring this up you ask? Well, it has to do with a service we will be offering in the near future. As we expand we will be offering a classifieds section for boat owners to present their boats to potential buyers. It will be interactive just like Maxed Out Marine's ad and will be affordable enough for everyone. Think of it as the old school Boat Trader Magazine in a digital format with full interactivity!
Addtitionally, nearly every picture in this issue is expandable. Just click the picture and a larger image will open for your viewing pleasure.
As we move forward we are also going to be adding more boat features, articles and reviews, so stay tuned!
Your input is always appreciated, so don't hesitate to chime in with ways we can improve, ideas for articles, and things you'd like to see! And, of course, the point of this is to entertain you, the reader, and find additional readers. So, if you enjoy the newsletter please share it on your social media, around the water cooler, or email it to a friend! Thanks for reading!
See you on the water!
