NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hi to you all ,
To those that , were able to make our Xmas fun day yesterday at Oatlands , thank you all for coming along , it was really great to meet some that I had not met before . We had a day that , could have been like all the days last week or today which , was positively beautiful , unfortunately yesterday wasn ’ t one of those days . For those that couldn ’ t make it along , you didn ’ t miss any good weather , we had everything EXCEPT sunshine - never mind . The doggies all enjoyed their fun day and I am sure despite the weather we all had a very enjoyable day , I know I did . The kids all seems to really enjoy the kids play area , the rain didn ’ t stop any of them … Hopefully we can have more great get togethers in the future with better weather .
As you all know , we the RCT is on a 12 months probationary period with the TCA ( Dogs Tasmania ) during this period we must hold an “ Open Show ”. We have been approved and a confirmed date has been granted , 13th May 2017 . We have two aspiring group six judges that have confirmed that , they are very happy and keen to judge our “ Open Show ”, Mr Ray Wall from Spreyton and Miss Tracy Walker from Molesworth , we also have our steward in place , our show secretary and our grounds all confirmed , approved and ready to go .
We also have Mrs Louise Russell from Victoria coming over to do a Rottweiler workshop after the “ Open Show ” on the afternoon of Saturday 13th May , this is a great opportunity not only for aspiring group 6 judges , but also for all Rottweiler enthusiast to learn even more about this wonderful breed
