Each crew member of the Zephyrs has something
they're unwilling to face and everything to lose. Em-
eryss has yet to reach her family, but she's reluctant to
leave Grier's side. Grier is eager to put off his matches
and prove Stadhold's innocence, but his growing doubt
in Keeper traditions is overwhelming him. Clove is des-
perate to find her twin brother, Cayn, and get back
home, but these idiots could kill her for the smallest
reason. Adalai will stop at nothing to be the leader she
