Deb Elliott Playgroup/ Campbelltown School’s Ministry Group This has indeed been a year of “building”. It has been so exciting to start to see dreams come into being, with even more excitement still to come. As always it is with great pride that I take this time to thank the amazing team that stands alongside me and makes things happen in all ministry areas. Thank you all for your time, energy and passion. Well if you haven’t guessed we are in a “Baby boom” with so many new lives added to our church family. I have lost count but I think we are up to around 10 babies this year with still more to come. What a blessing to be in a growing vibrant church of people of all ages and different nationalities - Just in time to enjoy our new parent room! Children’s church has also seen growth in all of our areas which has been wonderful. I was surprised to see that we have 19 children under the age of 2yrs ready to come up into Lighthouse Kids over the next couple of years taking our total number of children attending regularly to 130 which is awesome. I’m very excited to see what growth we will see next year and how God will use our new facilities to bless the families and children in our community. I have been so blessed to have Jess Evans join with me as she explores her call to ministry. Jess has undergone her Internship through RBC and Baptist Churches of SA. Throughout this year she has had regular training with Pastor Jason Hoet along with on the job training at RBC. I could not have done the year without her. Playgroup has been a great joy to me this year with lots of lovely hugs from such precious children. We have contact with 21 families each week with an average of 22 kids attending. It is wonderful to be able to be a “light” into our community. Schools ministry has been going well, I help to facilitate the Campbelltown ministry group which entails 4 local churches who are standing alongside our CPSW’S (Chaplin’s) as they bless their local schools and share the love and light of Christ in them. We currently have 5 primary schools and 1 high school in our area.
