Let us pray with confidence for Ray as we give thanks for the gift of his life . We turn to you as a loving father and place our needs before you .
1 : In baptism , Ray received the light of Christ . Let us pray that God will now take away the darkness and lead him to the light of Heaven . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
2 : For our brother Ray who ate the body of Christ , the bread of life , that he may be raised up on the last day . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
3 : For our deceased relatives and friends and for all who have helped us , that they may have reward of their goodness . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
4 : May Ray ’ s family and all who know him find comfort and consolation in knowing that Ray lived a wonderful life and is in God ’ s hands . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
5 : May God bless the staff and nurses who cared for Ray with patience and compassion . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
6 : Those who trusted in the lord now sleep in the Lord . Give refreshment , rest , and peace to all whose faith is known to you alone . Lord , hear us . All : Lord , hear our prayer .
