Bulk Lace
Genuine American Rawhide
Rawlings is the global leader in manufacturing durable high tensile strength alum tanned lace leather. The company-owned US tannery was
founded in 1946 and has been instrumental in innovating important leathers for use in baseballs, gloves and laces. For glove lace, the American
hides are first tanned, dyed, and finished to exacting standards. Then, Tanners’ knowledgeable craftsmen inspect each hide, block it out, cut, sort
and bundle the glove lace with a keen eye for detail. The result is the highest quality and most consistent glove lace available today.
When ordering bulk glove lace, be careful to select the correct width. The standard width for baseball gloves is 3/16” and is used on virtually every
section of most gloves. The color and length of the lace is a matter of choice, but the most popular bundles are items B120 (tan) and B220 (black).
The ¼” lace is wider than the standard 3/16” lace and is generally used only on the webbing and top-of-fingers on some catcher’s mitts, first
basemen’s mitts, and some larger outfielder’s gloves. Keep plenty of 3/16” in-stock plus some ¼” when you need it. Please call Tanners Custome
