Chairman’s Report
The first 100 days in the role as Eastern Region
Chair have been exciting and rewarding. I would
like to congratulate and thank the team from D9675
for putting on a wonderful meeting in Kiama on the
weekend of the 5th and 6th August 2017. A great
selection of speakers at a great venue. I would like
to thank the Pink Umbrella Foundation for their
awards of $1000 to six different projects again.
These awards are having a huge effect on the
attendance at our quarterly meetings, as well as
helping our Project Managers achieve their goals.
The very special Len Avard award was this year
awarded to Miriam Jacka DIK Manager for RAWCS
Eastern Region. Miriam was very moved when this
award was made and it was so well deserved. Miri-
am has dedicated much of her time to RAWCS and
Donations in Kind. Our thanks to Miriam for the
great work she has done over many years.
