INTERVIEWWITH BREAL- BFUNNY

When did you fall in love wit h comedy and act ing? Comedy started when I was a child, making people laugh such as my family. Everyone used to call it playing the dozens, or being the class clown in school.
I just enjoyed making people laugh. I had no idea on becoming a comedian or writing movies it was just a vision out of my head that came from no where.
I awoke out of my sleep one day and started to write and laughing to myself. So this is how it happened.
Is t here anyone who inspired you along t he way?
Basically I love all the comedians now, but people who I grew up watching were, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, even the current comics such as Dave Chapelle. My favorite stand up comedian is Mike Epps and I can ' t forget my boy Black Azz. Black Azz, that ' s B. L. A. C. K. A. Z. Z. so y ' all won ' t get it wrong, my best friend we doing this together and we stand for something positive...... Back to the comedy thing, basically my concept of being different, I didn ' t want to do everything that everyone else has been doing. So I just take stuff that goes in in everyday life and turn it into something funny.
How did act ing and comedy change your life?
It changed my life a million ways, but the most important one to start off saying is, it ' s stress reliever, it ' s something that i can call my own. Normally I would be playing basketball, punching a bag, lifting weights and things like that. And actually the people enjoy it. And I like making people laugh so if there ' s anything i can do to put a smile on people ' s face... and laughter is good for the soul. Laughing is very beautiful and if you can put a smile on a person ' s face you can change their life around, it ' ll eliminate the negativity and craziness going on.
If you could writ e a let t er t o t he person t hat t old you No, or t his will never work out, what would it say?( Talking t o your inner child)
I ' ve heard a lot of No ' s, and I tell people if you constantly listen to people telling you No and you stop and give up on your dreams and goals you ' ll never make it. When people told me No, I really didn ' t listen to it. But if i had to say something to that person that told me No, that would be later on in life and they could see that i kept going after they told me No and say to them look at me now. So where would I be if I had of listen to you after you told me No and I gave up on myself.
On a scale of 1-5, 5 being t he highest how would you rat e your t alent verses t he t alent in t he bay area? And why?
I give myself and being honest a 2.5 maybe 3, because basically there ' s a lot of funny people and I don ' t like to put myself in any competition and I don ' t like to put too much on myself. I also don ' t like to put myself in categories. I everybody else do the judging and talking. But I can say as I am developing as I am growing with the comedic career that I chose, I ' m getting better and people will see it in my 3rd B Real B Funny movie.
