2014 will once again be a year of sequels and remakes, there will be over 20 movie sequels in 2014.

One highly anticipated sequel for 2014 Is the 4th installment of The Transformers franchise; fans are waiting skeptically but optimistic as Shia Labeouf will not be returning as the lead male role, instead Mark Walberg – a giant in the action movie world will be taking his place. In my own opinion if this movie flops it will most likely not be due to the change in cast, Mark Walberg has the talent to take on this leading role and make it his own.

22 Jump Street will be coming out this June as the sequel to the surprisingly good and surprisingly funny 21 jump street. This time the boys will not be walking around high school halls but instead will protect and serve on a college campus. If Tatum and Hill still have the quick wit to keep the improv comedy going and the great chemistry they had in the first movie this sequel will be a no brainer and should be on every comedy lovers must watch list this year.

If we can agree that Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) lacked humor - an element that has made the other Avengers movies fun to watch - then perhaps that was the reason Joe and Anthony Russo were hired, best known for their work on "Arrested Development" and "Community", to co-direct the sequel, which picks up where the originaly left off, with Steve Rogers getting his bearings after being transported from WWII to the present day. Hopefully this sequal will keep the high action intensity like the first moive but gain a little bit of that crowd pleasing humor were looking for.

Andrew Garfeild is back with the newest installment of the SECOND interpritaion of this classic trilogy The Amazing Spider-man. We've always known that Spider-Man's most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he.
