Bouquets Of Gratitude
Most people think of the following words to describe engineers - smart, technical, and educated. But engineers
are essentially creative, innovative problem solvers. This veiled truth has brought to light the exciting fact that
engineering is ‘fun’, not just challenging. At SLRTCE, our vision is deep, and our mission simple: ‘delivering
quality education and achieving excellence… excellence in terms of taking Engineering a step further than
Innovation to Entrepreneurship....’
The benefits of a college degree, a higher paying job and upward mobility, have been a long standing assumption
for engineering students, but the ability to realize those benefits has greatly diminished in the recent years. To
battle with this, Shree L. R. Tiwari College of Engineering has, right since its inception in 2010, been conducting
a number of National level programs in Science, Engineering & Technology and Management, both at the first
degree and higher degree levels. This experience has helped us build on our qualification, and has provided us
with the confidence to grow as a professional. Gaining hands on experience prior to graduating implies building
of knowledge, skills and a professional network which will continue to flourish.
Through this first issue of Raw Ink, the entire team wishes to pay a huge tribute to our distinguished
management, the crux of our very existence.
We extend warm and heartfelt gratitude to our Honorable Chairman, Shri Lallan Tiwari, who boldly embarked
on a new venture in the field of education, with tremendous zeal and enthusiasm to connect the deprived and
needy people to the sophisticated sector of society. His steadfast nature is the driving force of this institution
and he attributes the success of our work to a single element - Commitment. Leading by example, he takes
personal interest in the functioning of SLRTCE by constantly examining the state of affairs at the grass root level.
We are extremely grateful to our respected Hon. Secretary, Shri Rahul Tiwari who is truly a youth icon of
sterling nature and a dynamic enthusiast. This reflects in his keeping up with the latest trends by introducing
innovative and progressive techniques into the field of education right from the grass root level to higher
professional courses. His very presence allures us and compels us to emulate his conduct as we grow. Kudos!! to
our Secretary Sir… who envisioned this very Institute!
We feel sincerely blessed to have Smt. Krishna Tiwari as our Hon. Jt. Secretary. She lives up to the noble saying
by Rabindranath Tagore, ‘A lamp can never light another lamp unless and until it continues to burn its own flame’.
Her encouragement and support have played a major role in the fruitful completion of every tiny venture. Her
willingness to delve into the depths of a student’s personality and realize the problems faced while growing and
learning is what we greatly treasure.
There cannot be enough to say in thanking our Director and Academic Advisor, Dr. P. V. Pradhan. A
perfectionist by nature, he is extremely sincere and meticulous and guides us constantly with his deep
philosophy, wise instinct and excellent managerial skills, thus helping us cross milestones in a short span. He
exudes a highly positive aura and relates to each person with astuteness as well as an open approach.
We extend a debt of gratitude to our dear Principal, Dr. S. Ram Reddy, for not only providing a path but
also for helping us cross over every hurdle. The firm assurance he provides us, that our efforts will pay, is just
what we need to sustain us in this inevitably expanding and dynamic field.
Eddie Canton has rightly remarked: “It takes 20 years to become an overnight success!” We pledge not to deter
in our goal of propelling SLRTCE to great heights. With the birth of Raw Ink, the Vision is already set to
communicate to every reader that, for us at SLRTCE:
‘The sky, as we see it, is not the limit!!!!’
