Farewell
The 8
th
semester for the BE students proved to be most celebrated and yet emotional of their entire
engineering course also adding up with the cherry on the cake as of our college celebrated their
‘last’ ceremony of their graduation days i.e. FAREWELL!!!!
Well this farewell organized by juniors, proved to be a hit and high on emotional note. Mr. Swapnil
Salvi and Ms. Shivali Naik took along with the hosting part and carrying on the interactions with our
fellow seniors. Events organized in the farewell tested our seniors’ spontaneity. Apart from all the
fun and lively atmosphere, few faculties’ good-bye speech made the environment full of hearts and
emotions! Speech given by Miss. Nina Narasimhan was quoted as the ‘most loved’ speech by all the
BE students. Lastly as per our college’s tradition; no event is ended by the Super-DJ in the end,
however this time there was a slight change. After few minutes of DJ, few students from TE-IT made
a Farewell Video for the Entire BE Batch. Surprisingly entire TE and BE batch gathered to watch that
17 minute video which had all the funny/sweet memories right from classrooms-to-lobby-to-staff
rooms-to-IV-to-Annual functions. Watching all summed up in a single video was a visual delight!
Well honestly, I’m not an emotional guy but when I attended the farewell, I realized that life is
sometimes strange, awkward, funny and beautiful in its own way! Farewell was such an event which
made us realize that there was a day when we came here as strangers, and now we are leaving as
someone’s
friend,
companion,
brother,
sister,
mentor
and
obviously….someone’s
Girlfriend/Boyfriend!!! :D (C’mon lets be practical :P)
We, All the Raw Ink Members, we are neither heroes nor we know high profile lines to fill up your
heart. But yeah, on behalf of entire Raw Ink Team all I want to say is:“There
is
a
good
reason
they
call
these
ceremonies
‘commencement
exercise’.
Graduation is NOT the END…it’s ‘just’ the BEGINNING of new era in your Life!”
Farewell people!
Management just did their job of setting up a three-floor building, (Five floors to be soon :P).
You guys gave life to this mere building and made it ‘The College’
Thank you for that; and ALL THE VERY BEST!
