to go to school in another zip
code.
Sandy's mom, FRAN (40s), knocks on the door.
FRAN (O.S.)
Is everything alright in there? I
heard screaming.
In a posh British accent Mandy responds.
MANDY
Everything's fine. Sandy and I
were just taking a short break
from studying for our midterms. I
decided to teach her this new
dance when the clumsy ole gal
stumped her toe on the bed post.
FRAN
Are you alright? Do you need some
ice?
Mandy turns to Sandy waiting for her to respond.
SANDY
I'm fine, mom.
FRAN (O.S.)
Do you guys need anything like
refreshments?
MANDY
No, we really must get back to
studying now.
INT. HALLWAY
Sandy's mom walks away down the hall.
